Delores Ann Pumphrey was born June 23, 1949 to Pete Daniels and Imogene Swisher in Dallas, Tx . She attended Lincoln High School where she graduated in 1967.

She was a member of Concord Missionary Baptist Church until she was called home. Delores was a Law Librarian at Hughes & Luce Law Firm for over 18 years where she retired. After retirement she worked at Marshall's for 15 years, she enjoyed her job there always shopping and greeting her customers with her beautiful smile.

Delores is proceeded in death by her father Pete Daniels; mother Imogene Swisher; and son, Gabriel Pumphrey.

Delores leaves to cherish her loving memories, her daughters Michelle Pumphrey James(Kenneth); Anita Pumphrey Howard (James); her grandchildren, Courtney Young, Christian Wilson, Mercedez Howard, Cameron Howard, Gabriel Pumphey Jr., Alexis Howard, Caleb Howard, Cai Howard; her great grandchildren, Yannoj, Courtney, & Trinity Young and Xya Phillips, her sister Mable Davis and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
