Deirdre Williams, 51, of Garland, Texas, passed away peacefully on October 12, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born on November 28, 1973, in Urbana, Illinois, Deirdre was the cherished daughter of Paul and Franca Benton and beloved sister to Daniel Benton.
A proud graduate of Abilene High School's Class of 1992, Deirdre went on to earn her degree in Education from San Angelo University. After returning home to Abilene, she met the love of her life, Derrick Williams, in 2001. The two married in 2005 after moving to Dallas and built a beautiful life together with their three children — Derrick Jr., Dasia, and Iris Lily — who were truly the center of her world.

Deirdre will be remembered for her radiant smile, loving spirit, and unwavering positivity. She gave selflessly to those around her and lived each day with kindness, determination, and grace. Her passion was her family, and her legacy of love continues through them.

Deirdre is deeply loved and will be profoundly missed. We love and miss you with all our heart. You will truly be missed.
