A TIME TO LIVE:
Deidra was born in Dallas, Texas, on December 26, 1970, to the late Edward and Gloria Thompson. Deidra was an only child born to this union. Her father passed away when she was 2 years old, and her mom passed away in 2004. Deidra was then taken in by her Uncle Michael Woods and her Aunt Wanda Woods as their child, along with their children, Elliott and Nichelle.

A TIME TO LEARN:
Deidra graduated from Hillcrest High School in North Dallas with the Class of 1989 and continued her education at Texas A&M University located in Commerce, Texas.

A TIME TO WORK:
Deidra worked at Sears for several years and later gained employment at AAA for approximately 20 years until her death. Deidra loved her job and co-workers so much that they would call and check in with each other daily, where she was loved by all.

A TIME TO SERVE:
Deidra accepted Christ at an early age as her Lord and Savior at the East Gate Missionary Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas, pastored by the late H.D. Reagan. She served as a Junior Usher and a member of the Joy Choir and later joined the Mass Choir. Deidra later became a member of the Concord Baptist under the late E.K. Bailey.

A TIME TO ENJOY LIFE:
Deidra had a giving heart and a life that was filled with much love and joy spent with her Concord family, pastor, and friends. She also enjoyed traveling with the choir and their outings this past summer. She loved meeting and greeting people with her large infectious smile, showing her beautiful pearly white teeth.

A TIME TO BE REMEMBERED:
