Debora Ann Tennell was born to Bennie Earl Hampton, Sr. and Loureece Scott-Hampton in Dallas, Texas on August 09, 1960. At an early age, Debora and the family moved to Tyler, Texas where she attended elementary school in the Tyler Independent School District. The family later returned to Irving, Texas. Where she attended Hanes Elementary, Crockett Middle School and she graduated from Irving High School.

She accepted Christ at an early age at West Irving Church of God in Christ. Debora met and married Dexter Tennell and were married for 41 years. The couple placed their membership with the Bear Creek Community Church under the leadership of Rev. Dennis Webb. While there Debora was an active member. She was an Usher and a part of the Women's Ministry.

Debora loved spending time with her family, her church and watching sports. She was known all over the City of Irving for her knowledge of hometown athletes.

Debora is preceded in death by both parents Bennie and Loureece Hampton and brother; Winford Hampton.

She leaves to cherish her memories: her children – Dexter Tennell, Jr. of Dallas, Natasha Hampton of Irving, Adron Tennell (Ashley) of Richardson and Winford Tennell of Plano.

Grandchildren – Ava Tennell, Aubrey Tennell, Aaliyah Tennell, Miles Alvis, Summer Tennell, Brooklyn Tennell, Dakota Hampton, Stormee Tennell, Serenity Tennell, Dexter Tennell III, Armani Tennell, Isaiah Tennell, Jayden Tennell, Nova Tennell, Zayda Turner

Siblings – LaShun Archie of Coppell, Earl Hampton, Beverly Hampton and Teresa Hampton-Davis (Anthony) all of Irving, Windy Hampton of Grand Prairie; a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
