Clyde Ernest Moore was the son of Luther and Leola Moore. Clyde was born in Bluefield, West Virginia on December 13, 1952.

His parents moved to Grand Prairie, TX in 1955 where he attended school in the Grand Prairie Independent School District.  He graduated South Grand Prairie High School in 1971. He went on to attend Wichita Falls School of Electronics. Transferring to Bishop College in Dallas, TX. Clyde was on the Dean's list every semester he attended.

Clyde was the third child and only son born of four siblings, Patricia Howell (Grand Prairie, TX), preceded him in death, Ossie Winfield (West Linn, Oregon) also preceded him in death and Alfreda Mitchell (Carrollton, TX).

Clyde worked in the construction industry until his health forced his early retirement. Not withstanding retirement he worked part time as the House Manager for Green Heaven Boarding homes until he was no longer able to work.

On July 31, 2023, God called his servant home. He passed away quietly in his sleep.

Clyde leaves to celebrate his memory and cherish his life: (sister) Alfreda Mitchell; (nieces) Tiffany Howard and LaMonica Edmondson (Milton); (nephew) Damion Howell (LaKeshia); (great nieces) Niya Patrcia and Bailey Howard; (nephew) James Winfield; and (great nephews), KeShawn, LeKeithen and DeShawn. He is also survived by ahost of cousins and friends.
