Cloresa Nacole
Body
July 16, 1986 – October 18, 2025
Cloresa Nacole Body, lovingly known as Nikki, was born on July 16, 1986, to her proud parents, Nathan and Teresa Body. With her joyful spirit, loving heart, and infectious laughter, Nikki brought happiness and love into the lives of all who had the blessing of knowing her.
Nikki embraced Christianity at a young age and was a member of Community Missionary Baptist Church under Pastor Oscar Epps until her untimely death.
Nikki was educated in the Dallas Independent School District, where she attended T.G. Terry Elementary and W.H. Atwell Middle School. Even as a young girl, her bright spirit and energy shone through as a proud cheerleader for the Oak Cliff Redskins. She went on to graduate in 2004 from the David W. Carter High School, where she continued to stand out as co-captain of the Calico Drill Team.
Throughout her career, Nikki shared her kindness, dedication, and strong work ethic with everyone she met. After graduating from high school, she served as a customer service representative. Additionally, she served for 19 years as an usher at the Music Hall at Fair Park and, most recently, with Shellpoint (Newrez) Mortgage Company, where she was deeply valued and loved by her coworkers.
The greatest joy of her life came when she became the mother to Ja'Naya Rose and Ava Brightmon. More than anything in this world, Nikki found her greatest joy in being a mother to her two beautiful girls. In them, her legacy lives on—full of her grace, her spirit, and the boundless love only a mother like her could give.
She loved fiercely. Her family was her anchor, her friends her chosen tribe, and every soul she met had a place in her heart. She gave without asking for anything in return—whether it was her time, her energy, or her boundless encouragement. She had a way of showing up exactly when you needed her most, with a kind word, a silly joke, or just that smile that made everything feel okay again.
He was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Sherell Runnels and Fletcher McLemore; her paternal grandfather, Douglas Gardner; and beloved uncles, aunts, and cousins.
She leaves lasting memories to cherish through her beautiful daughters, Ja'Naya Rose and Ava Brightmon. Mother, Teresa Body; Father, Nathan Body (Veronica); Grandmother, Ella McClellan; and siblings, Jeffrey Body and Shantonio Scott. Bonus siblings, LaDonna Mason & Michael Mason Sr. (Tiaira), and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
