Clementine Howard Brown (Clem) was born in Homer, Louisiana on February 15, 1950 to the union of Robert and Eura Dell Franklin. She graduated from L.G. Pinkston in Dallas Texas. She married Robert Earl Brown on April 18, 1970. They had one child Kimberly Brown Chambers.

She was a faithful member of New Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church for many years. Clem passed away on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at the age of 72.

She is proceeded in death by her father Robert Lee Franklin, her mother EuraDell Franklin, and her brother Victor R. Franklin.

Clem leaves to cherish her memories: her daughter Kimberly (Keith) Chambers, grandchildren Joshua, Jonathon and Jazmin, great granddaughter, Aaliyah, brother Jerry (Betty) Franklin, and sisters Sharon Talton and Vickey (Everett) Erving, sister-in-law, Gwen Franklin, along with a host of nieces and nephews.
