Claudia Beatrice Bables (Tyler) was born in Lodi, Texas to the parentage of Bishop T. W. Tyler and Elsie May Tyler, who both preceded her in death. She and her family moved to Los Angeles, California when she was two years old. She accepted Christ at an early age. Growing up she loved to sing and spend time with her six sisters and other family members. She later married the late Reverend Harry Bables and moved to Dallas, Texas in 1979. She worked at Bank of America for several years until she retired. After retirement she wanted to work in her community and positively impact young girls, so she went to work at Girls Inc.
