Obituary

Christopher Demon Jeter Sr. was born on July 16th, 1972 in Marshall, Texas, to Vanessa Carol Jeter  and Arthur Lee Williams. From the very beginning, Chris possessed a strength of character and warmth of spirit that drew people near.

At an early age, Chris accepted Christ and became a member at Beginners Baptist Church and carried a steadfast faith throughout life. He believed in hard work, loyalty, and loving his family wholeheartedly.

Chris was educated in the Marshall ISD school system until he moved to Dallas and graduated with the Class of 1990 at Skyline High School but he remained a Marshall Maverick at heart. Chris was a dedicated, hard working, reliable employee of Niagara Bottling since 2014; he built a life rooted in dedication and integrity. Whether at work, in the community, or at home, he was known for his love, wisdom, and calm presence.

He cherished time spent with family and friends— sharing laughter, stories, and moments that will now become treasured memories; but his pride and joy was spending time with his GRANDKIDS, especially taking them shopping. His love was steady, his advice honest, and his heart generous.

On February 28th, 2026, Chris peacefully transitioned into eternal rest. Though we grieve his absence, we rejoice knowing he is now at peace.

Chris was preceded in death by Grandmothers Emma "Big Mama" Jeter, Margaret Williams, and his Dearest Aunt Willie Ruth Williams (Aunt Baye).

He leaves to cherish his memory:
His son, Christopher Demon Jeter Jr., Grandchildren, Cam'Ron, Alayah, Chance, and Carter Jeter. Mother, Vanessa Carol Jones (Joe) ,Father Arthur Lee Williams(Vanessa), Beloved Sisters, Catina Robinson(Lester), Lakeisha Jones, LaTanya Jones, LaShondra Sneed(Kenneth),  Brothers  Arthur Lee Williams Jr.(Tanji), Jeremy Russell, William Hudson, Lamont Hudson, and Jeremiah Silva. Special cousins, Adrin Jeter, Bob Jackson, Malcomb Thomas, and a host of relatives and dear friends. His legacy of love, strength, and faith will forever remain in our hearts.
