Christian
Stevenson
April 19, 2005 – July 10, 2025
Christian Jalil Stevenson was born on April 19, 2005, in Dallas, Texas, to his devoted and nurturing mother, Brittany Young. From the moment he entered the world, Christian brought with him a spark of energy and joy that never dimmed.
From an early age, Christian showed he was a natural athlete. He began his love for sports on the football field at just five years old. In middle school, he developed a strong passion for track, competing in the 100, 200, and 400 meters, as well as relay races. He ran on the JV track team at DeSoto and earned numerous medals for his impressive performances.
Christian spent his early years attending elementary, middle, and high school in DeSoto, Texas. During his senior year, he transferred to Lancaster High School to play football with his best friends and proudly graduated with the Class of 2023.
Those who knew Christian best will always remember his vibrant personality and magnetic spirit. He was blessed with the gift of making people laugh, and every person he encountered was left with a laugh or a smile. He had a deep love for music and even tried his hand at a rap career, though it didn't last very long, it was something he truly enjoyed. He loved football and track, teasing his little sisters, and being a big brother to his younger cousin. Christian truly cherished spending time with his family and friends.
Christian's warm spirit was shaped in large part by the love of his great-grandmother, who raised him with unwavering devotion. Through her, he was grounded in a strong foundation of love and loyalty. We find peace knowing he is now resting with her, and he will be missed beyond words
Christian transitioned on Thursday, July 10, 2025, leaving a deep void in the hearts of all who loved him. He was preceded in death by his heavenly grandmother Charron Ann Printers Young and his great-grandmother Willie Printers
He is survived by his mother Brittany Lewis (Stefan Lewis); his father Aaron Stevenson; his sisters Skylar and Sydney Lewis; his grandparents Ronald Young and Michael and Adrianne Stevenson; his aunts Ronda Young, Tia Stevenson, and Tyesha Barron; his cousins Ronald Patterson, Zayanna Preston, and Sir Preston; and his loyal dog Queen. He also leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and special friends who loved him dearly.
