Cheryle Lynn Todd in her 56th season, transitioned from labor to reward on Wednesday, May 8, 2013.
She was born to the union of the late Dr. Frederick D. Todd, Sr. and Earle Bernice Nathan Todd. Cheryle was the second of three children and a life- long resident of Dallas, Texas. She matriculated through the Dallas Public School system. Attending great schools such as ; William Brown Miller, John Neely Bryant, O. W. Holmes and South Oak Cliff High School. Cheryle graduated in 1974 receiving numerous academic awards and honors.

After high school, she attended the University of Texas at Austin and Arlington, where she studied accounting. During this time , Cheryle became a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. She parlayed a summer employment position with Sun Oil Co. into a permanent accounting position with what is now known as Oryx Energy Co., where she was employed for 13 years prior to her illiness.

Cheryle leaves to cherish her life and legacy, her pride and joy; Clifton Jason Todd, Sr. (Tiffany); Mother, Earle B. Nathan Todd; grandchildren, Clifton J. Todd, II, Trinitee D. Todd and Arianna Jones; brothers, Dr. Frederick D. Todd, II ( Linda) and Atty Michael J. Todd (Gayle) and a host of relatives and friends.

To celebrate the life and legacy of Cheryle Todd, please join the family at the wake on Monday, May 13, 2013 at Evergreen Memorial Funeral Home at 7:00 pm.

The Homegoing Celebration will be on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at New Hope Baptist Church, located at 5002 S. Central Expressway@ 10:00 am.
