Charlie DeCluette was born in Palestine, TX to Ira Willie Sr and Lydia McCowan DeCluette. Charlie served in the military as a sharpshooter. He also was a maintenance worker at the Bulk Mail Center for over 40 years. He married Velma Lea Jones DeCluette and they had three children Jaque DeCluette, Charles DeCluette, and Angela DeCluette.
