Charley Cornelius Myles was born September 8, 1947. Charley was born and raised in Shreveport, Louisiana by his grandparents Uriah Miles and Palleana Miles. He atteneded public school at Louisiana ISD. He had a great sense of humor and was full of fun.

He was a faithful member of Sunlight Baptist Church and was a member of the choir and served as a Deacon. He later moved to Dallas, Texas and united with East Gate Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor H.D. Reagan. He was a member of the Male Chorus, Men's Ministry and a Deacon. He was a loyal and faithful member. He met and married the lovely Mrs. Faye Miles with whom he shared the rest of his life. He worked as a mechanic for Tune-Up Masters for a number of years as a Regional Manager and later he employed with Sears as a Manager until his death.

Left to cherish his memories: a loving wife, Faye Miles; son, Charley Miles, II; daughters, Andrea (Michael) Randall and Bettrice Miles all of Houston, Texas; one stepson, Corey Langston; two step daughters, Sheronda and Donna Langston all of Dallas, Texas and a host of other relatives and friends.

The homegoing celebration will commence on Friday, February 8, 2013 11:00AM at East Gate Baptist Church.
