Charles Ann Lewis Sandles was born June 28, 1944 in Lanesville, Tx to Hosise & Lola B Lewis. She was the 6th child born to them. Charles Ann Lewis Sandles became a member of Church of Christ at an early age due to her father being a Church of Christ preacher. She graduated from morning side high school and went on to complete college at Cedar Valley Community College. She received her Bachelor's Degree and went on to pursue her dream job being a teacher. She worked for Wilmer Hutchinson ISD and Dallas ISD school district for over 50 years. She traveled the world and loved being a wife and mother. Charles Ann Lewis married J B Sandles, Jr. in July 1986 giving them 38 beautiful years together.

Charles Ann Lewis Sandles was preceded in death by her parents, Hosise & Lola B Lewis, 2- brothers Charles Lewis & Lowell Lewis, 2 Sister's Freddie Waggoner & Marcie D Harris, Step son Jason Sandles and granddaughter Xianna Garrett.

She leaves behind to cherish her loving memory, her husband JB Sandles Jr., her Children Denise, Zwaan (daughter -in-law Lydia)and Kristy. Step children Terry, Tonya, Tonnette, & Eddie, 1-brother Lonnie Ray Lewis, 1- Sister Alrethia Starr. Also has 7 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends of the family.
