Charles "Charley" James Grant of Kaufman, Texas passed on Thursday April 11,2019, may he rest In Heaven. Charley was born June 21, 1940 in Paris , Texas to Julie and E.G Grant. He met his wife Ms.  Lela Mae  in 1969 to this union 6 children were born .

Charley started Grants Fleet Service where he repaired tires on 18 wheelers, He was an Independent contractor for Southern Tire Mart, Modern Tire and Borden's. After retiring he started his second career working for Kaufman ISD in the Athletic Department where he was a long time employee.

He loved spending time watching Old Westerns movies and taking care of his wife.

He leaves to mourn his passing His loving wife Lela Grant, 3 step-sons,2 step daughters, 1 daughter 1 sister, 1 brother, numerous nieces, nephews, grand children, great-grandchildren and a host of friends. He will be truly missed by all.
