Charles Edward Smith's Obituary
Charles Edward Smith was born July 31, 1943 to the parentage of MC and Clemmie Smith in Karnack, Texas.
Charles attended the Karnack Independent School District. HE continued his education at North Texas State University in Denton, texas and Bishop College in Dallas, Texas. Charles was employed with American Bakery for several years and Ryder Truck Rental and Leasing for many years. He was later self employed.
Charles professed Christ at an early age. He was a member of the Antioch Baptist Church in Leigh, Texas. He later became a member of Alta Mesa Park Baptist Church in 1976 under the leadership of the late Rev. L.E. Robertson.
Left to cherish his memories: wife, Blanche Smith; children, Vincent Smith, Eric Smith, Rolanda Abney and Michelle McClendon and a host of other relatives and friends.
The homegoing celebration will commence on Tuesday, July 17, 2012 11:00am at Alta Mesa Baptist Church, 2939 Palo Alto Drive.
