Charles Edward Johnson, Sr. was born January 22, 1942 to Charles Louis Johnson and Jesse Mae McDuffy. He confessed Christ at an early age at St. James Church in West Point, Texas.

Later in life he married Freddie Mae Williams and to this union they had 3 children.

Charles was employed by Henry C. Beck Construction for over 30 years until his retirement. After retirement Charles was employed with Classic Car Wash where he spent time with his friends.

Charles was preceded in death by Father Charles Louis Johnson, Mother Cherry Marie Johnson, Wife Freedie Mae Johnson, Son Danny Johnson, Brothers John Louis Johnson, James Johnson, Larry Johnson and Alex Johnson.

Charles leaves to cherish his memories: son,Charles Edward Johnson, Jr.; daughters, Pamela Carlette Johnson, Shontai Renee Johnson, Son-In-Law: James Robinson; sister, Denise Page; Sister-In-Law: Marie Hendrick; Brother-In-Law: Henry Moore, 17 Grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren other relatives and friends.
