born January 24,1939 in Greenville TX, to the parentage of Willie and Sarah Alzens Stephens. Catherine passed away on A pril 12,2020 at Lennwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Dallas,TX.

Catherine was a longtime resident of Greenville, Texas where she attended public school. This is where she accepted Christ and was baptized at an early age and was a member of the Mount Olive Baptist Church.

Catherine was united in marriage to Travis Roy Williams on June 18,1955 in Greenville,TX. To this union four children were born. This union later brought them to Dallas; were they became members of the New Friendship Baptist Church and later to East Gate Baptist Church. Catherine was a faithful servant as a Deaconess, member of the Pastor & Wife Anniversary Committee and Hospitality Committee. Later in life, Catherine joined the Antioch. Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church to be with her daughters until her passing.

Catherine was Preceded in death by: parents; her husband Travis R Williams of 36 years; five brothers and seven sisters.

Her precious memories are left to be cherished by her one son, Gregory L Williams (Mary Tucker); three daughters, Leatrice R. Joyce, Karen Y. Wilson (Sidney Wilson) and Vikki T. Williams of Dallas; four grandchildren,  Anthony Young, Cameron Wilson (Meghan Wilson), Jordan Williams and Madison Livingston of Dallas; two brothers Billy Day Barrett of Greenville, Texas and Willie"Piggy" Stephens of Ft-Worth TX. Several great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
