Carolyn was a devoted mother, sister, loving grandmother and great grandmother. She was born to Billy M. Pleasant and Ruby Wade on November 19, 1953, in Dallas, Tx. She passed away September 27, 2022 in Cedar Hill, Tx.

Carolyn attended and graduated from North Dallas High School. She later attended The Access Nursing Program and began a career in nursing. Carolyn worked for Treemont Nursing and Rehab until she retired.  Carolyn came to know the lord  and she served the church and anyone who needed prayer and assistance. She gave laughs where they were most needed and she could always pick you up when you were down.

Carolyn is preceded in death by her husband Curtis Jones; parents; sister Sharron Jackson,and nephew Eddie Jackson. She leaves to cherish her memory her two brothers Wayne Smith (Carolyn), Kenny Morgan, one sister Debbie Carrigan (Daniel), two children Untuawn Askew (Jeannie), Danyiell Askew, eight grandchildren Keith, Joshua, James, Shatara, Danlanae, Delarricke, Choycelyn; and fourteen great-grandkids.
