Carnella Bradford Sloan was born June 26, 1946 to the late Lewis and Nora Bradford.
She was baptized at a young age. She later joined Bon Air Baptist Church where she was a faithful member.
She met and married Robert E. Washington and to this union two children were born: Michael L. Washington and LaCresha Washington. She later married Bernard D. Sloan who preceded her in death.
She graduated from Mayflower High School. Later in life, she graduated from El Centro College where she became a Licensed Vocational Nurse. Throughout her career, as a nurse, she became a hard dedicated worker.
On July 30, 2018, mother received her wings. Behind all pain and sorrow she answered the call of the Master and entered sweet rest. Welcoming with loving arms her parents, Lewis and Nora Bradford, sister, Onella Brown, brother, Marion Bradford and sister Earlene Bradford.
Mother was loved by many. She leaves to cherish sweet memories: sister, Mercy Peace, Nettie Jean Chance (Wilton), Opal Coleman, O'Rell Bradford (Marie), Charles Bradford (Juanita); two children, Michael S. Washington and LaCresha Washington Brown (Terry, Sr.); three grandchildren, Samoan Brown, Terry Junior, Callier Stinson and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
