Carla Robinson was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on December 18, 1965 to the loving parents of Estella Sanders and Herman Irving. She later relocated to Dallas, Texas in 1979, where she attended F.D. Roosevelt High school graduating with the class of 1984.

Shortly after graduating high school, Carla married James Robinson, the love of her life, on May 25, 1985. Carla and James went on to have three beautiful children, Carlissia, James Jr. and Jermaine.

After the union of marriage, Carla and James united with the Inspiring Body of Christ Church, under the leadership of Pastor Rickie G. Rush. While attending IBOC, Carla served on the hospitality committee until her health would no longer allow.

On January 16, 2018, God called his fearless faithful warrior, Carla Robinson, home to glory.

She is preceded in death by father, Herman Irving.

Carla leaves to cherish her precious memories: husband, James Robinson, Sr.; daughter, Carlissia (Amiel) Glaspie; sons, James (Amber) Robinson, Jr. and Jermaine Robinson; mother, Estella Sanders; mother- in law, May Bell Johnson; siblings, Tracy Armstrong, Tamela Lee, John Lewis and Christopher Branch; sister-in-laws, Brenda (Wayne) Campbell and Aleria (Jimmy) Daniels; grandchildren, Jaymon Robinson, Aubree Robinson, Rylee Robinson and Amiel Glaspie, Jr.; and a host of other relatives and dear friends.
