Carla L. Oliver was born August 26, 1973 to the parentage of Dale and Rose Jacobs in Lewisville, Arkansas. Carla was the oldest of 7 girls.
She was married to John Oliver and their union was blessed with two loving children.
Carla was employed at Morning Glory Middle School in Fort Worth, Texas as a music teacher for the school program. Later, she was employed at Fellowship Christian Academy for ten years.
Carla was a member of Crossroads Covenant Church in Desoto, Texas where she primarily served as a Worship Leader. Even during illness and pain, Carla remained faithful.
She entered into the gates of heaven on Thursday night, September 27, 2012 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Her memories will be cherished by: husband, John Oliver; daughter, Carla E. Oliver; son, Jonathan L. Oliver; stepson, Maurice L. Walker; parents, Dale and Rose Jacobs; sisters, RosalandRevels (Paul), Shirstine Easter, Dale Pharms (Andre), Leslie Jacobs, Deszi Jacobs, Adrien Wyatt (Dwayne); grandmother, Margie Brock and a host of other relatives and friends
The homegoing celebration will commence on Saturday, October 6, 2012 at Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship.
Reverend Josef Rasheed will bring the Message of Hope and Celebration.
