Obituary

Carl Isom Jr, born on May 18, 1946, in Dallas, Texas, embodied a life of
love, devotion, and the pursuit of knowledge.
A loving father, cherished grandfather, supportive brother, caring uncle,
loyal cousin, and a true friend, Carl held his family close to his heart.
Carl met the love of his life, Rochester Bobbye Stephenson, in 1975, and
they were married on July 14, 1979, and shared a life together for 44
years. He treasured his role as a husband, fiercely protective of her and
their three children; Katrina, Carl III, and Anitra. His love for them knew
no bounds, and he took pride in being their rock during both triumphs
and challenges.
Carl was a person who believed in continuous growth and learning. He
valued education and emphasized the importance of understanding
finances, always encouraging his loved ones to make informed decisions
for their futures.
In his professional journey, Carl found purpose at Vought Aircraft
Industries, Inc. As the Lead Man, he displayed remarkable leadership,
guiding and mentoring his colleagues with an unwavering commitment
to excellence. His dedication to his work earned him numerous accolades
and the admiration of his peers.
Outside of his responsibilities, Carl loved listening to music, traveling,
and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan, passionately supporting them
through the highs and lows of their seasons.
On July 25, 2023, at 11:28 AM, Carl ascended to be with the Lord,leaving
behind a legacy that will forever resonate in the hearts of those who knew
him. His loving and devoted wife, Rochester Bobbye Isom, of Dallas, TX,
along with his children, Katrina Jones of Amarillo, Texas, Carl Isom III
(Daphne) of Austin, TX, and Anitra Isom Johnson of Dallas, Texas. His
adoring grandchildren, Johnathan, Sabrina, Michael, Madison, Carl IV,
Chatman V, and Christian, along with one great-granddaughter, Saije,
will carry his values and spirit forward.
Carl also leaves behind his siblings, Eric Byrd (Cheryl), Roy Isom, Rita
Isom, Chianti Polite, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and
friends, all of whom were touched by his love and kindness
Carl Isom Jr's journey to eternity is marked by his reunion with his
parents, Carl and Juanita Isom, his sister, Carlanita Isom, his niece,
Latranda Pipkins, and nephew, Darrone Isom.
