Bridgett Ann Allen was born on April 15, 1962 to Henry and Opal Allen. Bridgett was raised in Dallas, Texas attending schools in Dallas and graduating from Roosevelt High School in 1980.

She also gave birth to her first born Bridgett Chanta that same year on March 21st. Bridgett worked in the field of customer service she had two more children Otis Lee Darin & Jasmine Ya'kira. Bridgett worked for Pioneer Frozen foods for 15 years before retiring to focus on her health.

Bridgett was a God fearing woman and took her health very seriously. She lived by the Good Lords Book. She would give you her last dime and can fry the best-fried Catfish in Texas. She will truly be missed by a great number of people.

Bridgett was preceded in death by: her sister, Mollie Mickens; and brother, Stanley Allen.

Bridgett leaves to cherish her memories: children, Bridgett Allen-Sanders (Danny), Otis Allen (Katie) and Jasmine Allen (Ricky King Jr.); grandchildren, Dacsha Taylor Jr., Iman Taylor, Danny Sanders III, Inari Sanders, Traelin Miller, Janiya Miller, Rhaegan King and Ricky King III; siblings, Henry Allen Jr. (Susie), Malcolm Allen, Lesia Chambers (Charles), RoseMary Allen-Sheffield (Willie) and Steven Allen and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
