Bobby gained his wings and went home to be with Jesus on August 29, 2024. Bobby was born on July 9, 1948, a very special day. He was born in Kaufman, Texas, to the great parentage of Tom Jackson and Era Robinson. He received Jesus Christ at a very young age in his life.

Bobby was an amazing husband, father, and papa to his family. He was loving, caring, kind, hardworking, supportive, encouraging, the biggest cheerleader and supporter to his family. A great protector, amazing role model with a big personality, very ambitious, great provider,
courageous, authentic, confident, passionate, funny, and an all-around amazing blessing to everyone. Bobby attended N.W. Harlee Elementary School and graduated from Franklin D. Roosevelt High School.

Bobby served in the United States Army right out of high school. He served as a Specialist Four USAR and was honorably discharged on May 1, 1973. He was so proud to be a Vietnam veteran! (We salute you, Daddy, and thank you for your service.) Bobby started his professional career at Emory Booty Company for over 25 years until he retired. He always said if they had a T-shirt that said "I LOVE MY JOB," he would wear it
every day...

Bobby leaves behind his loving wife Glenda Jackson of 51 years, (daughter) Katina E. Jackson (Phil), (son) Jamal J. Jackson, (2 granddaughters) Brianna Jackson and Bailee Jackson, (grandson) Jamal Jackson Jr., and (1 great-grandson) Kamren Jackson, (2 brothers) J.D. Jackson (Francis) and Gilbert Jackson (Janice), (1 brother-in-law) Curtis Hamilton (Kimberly), and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and dear friends who loved and cared for him very much.
