Bobby Ray McClendon (Ben) was born October 28, 1956 in Limestone, Texas to Radell Lawrence and Jossiephine McClendon.

Bobby attended and graduated from Coolidge High School in 1974.

He accepted Christ in 2014 @ Covenant Baptist Church where he was later baptized in 2015.

Bobby and Debra married on October 27, 1984 and celebrated their 37th anniversary in 2021.

Bobby was preceded in death by his father Radell Lawrence; mother, Jossiephine McClendon; sister, Julia Mae and great nephew, TJ.

Bobby leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Debra McClendon; son, Broderick McClendon (Annie); daughter, Cierra McClendon; 5 grandchildren, Lil Broderick, Samaiyah, Kaziya, Bro'Derian and Kenadi; 2 sisters, Johnie and Lydia; 3 aunts, Dean, Emma and Carrie all of Dallas; uncles, James (Carolyn) of Lubbock, Texas, Robert (Helen), Larry, Alonzo and Lawrence; 4 sister in laws, Virginia, Ann, Linda, Ruthie (Tommy) and 1 brother in law, Allen all of Dallas, Texas.

Bobby had 11 nieces, 6  nephews adn 1 great nephew and a host of relatives and friends. Bobby had one very special uncle, Lawrence (Blue).
