Bobbie was born to Charles and Henrietta Meeks in Wichita Falls, Texas. She was the middle child of her two other siblings.
She grew up in Austin, Texas and attended Anderson High School. She received her high school diploma and then attended business school . Her career span covered employment at Southwestern Bell, Chase Bank and DeSoto ISD.
Some of her greatest blessings are her children, Jackie, Lorris, and Nicole. She was devoted to her family and enjoyed their family gatherings where her cooking was the heart of their celebrations and holidays. She always maintained ;a very active lifestyle and especially enjoyed working in the yard, cooking and crocheting.
She accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age and served faithfully as an usher at Antioch Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church for many years until her health declined.. She remained steadfast in her tithing.
Bobbie has been victorious in her journey for 81 years and went home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 12. Her family rejoices in a life well lived and her home going. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Henrietta and siblings..
She leaves behind to continue their journey, her daughters, Jackie Freeman and Nicole Kyles, son, Lorris Meeks, grandchildren, Kristi Freeman, Brittany Meeks , Aisha Meeks, Nickolas Kyles, Naddia Kyles, Noah Kyles, Nathann Kyles, Nileigh Kyles, Nnieya Kyles, Nehemiah Kyles, Noloun Kyles and great grandchildren, Kadeja Meeks, Christina Meeks, Joshua McClellan , Kamarion Biddle and Taurus Carter.
