Bobbie Jean Harmon Johnson was the oldest of three children born to the late Freddie Lee Harmon and Jessie Lee Johnson Harmon on June 28, 1941.
She went to rest on Thursday, June 1, 2023.
She accepted her Lord and Savior at the age of 21 and became a faithful and diligent servant at Concord Church. She was a true believer of the Word of God and shared the love of Jesus Christ with everyone she met.
She attended and graduated from Madison High School and Madame C. J. Walker School of Cosmetology in Dallas, Texas. She was married to Billy Joe Edwards, Sr. for ten (10) years. The Lord blessed them with a son, Billy Joe Edwards, Jr. and a daughter, Sandra Rena Edwards, Patrick. She later married Maurice Johnson and the Lord blessed them with one daughter, Shelley Joyce Johnson.
Bobbie was preceded in death by her Father, Freddie Lee Harmon; Mother, Jessie Lee Johnson Harmon and sisters, Mary Finley and Melvia Harmon.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her children: Billy Joe Edwards, Jr. (Chanda), Sandra Rena Edwards Patrick (Russell) and Shelley Joyce Johnson. She also leaves behind Grandsons: Tyler Johnson (Simone—Noelle), Joey Montez Mullens, Javan E. Patrick (Sharlese—JaLeah, Michael Newhouse, Javan Jr.), Jarod Patrick (Ashley), Jamar Patrick (Elecia), JaKeem Patrick and Isaiah Edwards. Granddaughters: Costa Edwards (Tony—Kai), Cielo Edwards, Destiny Long and Tasha Holyfield (Abel Caudle). Nephews and Nieces: Phillip Harmon (Lola), Kevin Harmon, Sr., Eric Harmon (LaToya), Vicky Keno, Cheryl Finley and Angie Everett (Stephen). Great Nieces and Nephews: Jackie Harmon, Kevin Harmon, Kavin Harmon, Jr., Nerica Harmon, Alexis Harmon (E'Vontee), Kiera Harmon, LaToya Harmon, Acosha Harmon, Sa'Kohya Harmon, LaTerica Harmon, LaTasha Keno, Autalayshia Boydd-Townsend, Raymon Hester (Fredricka) and Christopher Finley.
