Bishop Shane Willilams
Biography

Bishop Shane Williams was the Founder Senior Pastor of WORD…LIGHT Ministries of Lancaster, Texas. A Dallas native, Bishop Shane in his early beginnings served as a youth leader and received his calling at the Progressive Missionary Baptist Church of Dallas. God revealed his plan to use Bishop Shane early in his young teenage/young adult life. Bishop Shane was a graduate of the Dallas Independent School District. He later received his bachelor's degree in education from Texas A&M in Commerce, Texas, and master's degree in educational administration from Prairie View A&M University in Prairie View, Texas.

Bishop Shane was a Certified Exemplary teacher with the State of Texas, A distinguished Teacher with Dallas Independent School District and a mentoring educator to new teachers.

Bishop Shane accepted the mandate on his life to shed light through the word of God (Psalm119:105) into dark places of people lives along with empowering many to walk in integrity and transparency. Bishop Shane is a firsthand witness of the power of God to deliver from sickness, depression, victimization, and he had a deep stutter that God delivered him out of to become a preacher and teacher when others said he would not (but God!)

In July 2002, the manifested birth of WORD…LIGHT Ministries was brought into fruition with his beloved partner and wife, the late Taggi Williams. The mother of the Church is "Healed and made Whole by the Word of God.

"Bishop Shane has stood on the word to deliver the gender confused to wholeness, ex-offenders, to believers and those who have been victimized by the enemy to receive healing and restoration by the Word of God. Shane was first a servant and then a servant leader.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Taggi Williams; father, James Williams; sister, Bobbie A. Melton; Special Aunt & Uncle, James & Ida Cheatham and Betty Jo Lee.
