born December 7,1934 in Many,La. He was baptized at an early age at New Jerusalem Baptist Church. He departed this life Saturday May 16, 2020 at his home in Cedar Hill, Texas. We know that he is at rest with our Heavenly Father where he has no pain and there are no Tears.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John V. and VeElla Garner, one sister Malvia Garner Albert, two daughters Debra G. Angrum, Nedra J. Garner and one grandchild Brian Keith Angrum.

He leaves to mourn his death: His loving and devoted wife, Frances K. Garner brother John V. Garner Jr. of Dallas,TX two daughters Wanda "Cookie" Samuels of Dallas, TX Beverly Renee Crathers, of Red Oak,TX eleven grandchildren: twenty-five great-grand children and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
