Obituary

Mr. Billy Berry was born June 18, 1946 to Jesse and Onie Berry in Marlin Falls County Texas. Billy received his formal education from Marlin Independant School District. He was very active at Bokker T. Washington High School. He graduated in 1964.

He later joined the United States Air Force, where he served from November 16,1965 until February 12, 1969.

He moved to Dallas, Texas and was employed by the US Postal Service. He remained at the US Postal Service until Retirement in 2012.

In 1970 he met Gale Perkins and in 1973 they were married. She was the Love of his life. To this union two children were born. A beautiful daughter, Kristen Berry and an awesome son Brandon Berry.

He and family joined Friendship West over thirty years ago. He was a faithful member until his health began to fail him.

Billy had five sisters and four brothers. You can only imagine what dinner time was like. He will always be remembered as a loving husband, awesome father and grandfather, an amazing brother and uncle.

Mr. Berry was affectionally called Bill or Mr. by his lovely wife Gale of over fifty-one years.

Billy was preceded in death by his parents Jessie and Onie Berry: five sisters Brenice Berry-Dixon; Verna Lee Berry-Fields; Jessie Lee Berry-Wilson; Betty Marie Berry and Josie Berry; three brothers, Clence Berry; Turner Berry and Sam Berry. Billy Fred Berry leaves to cherish his memories, wife Gale Berry; daughter Kristen Berry. son Brandon Berry, grandsons Desmond Smith and Jaidon Hearne (all of Dallas,Texas); brother, Edward Berry of Midland Texas, and God Daughter, Shaneice Prevot of Baltimore, Maryland; Best Friend, Joseph Woods of Dallas, Texas and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and Friends.
