OVERSEER BILLY JAMES ADKISON

Overseer Billy James Adkison passed away on September 14, 2026, at the age of 74.

Born on February 2, 1952, Billy James Adkison lived a life that will be remembered with love, respect, and gratitude by all who knew him. His passing brings sorrow to those who shared in his life, and his memory will be cherished in the days ahead.

Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance and celebration of Billy’s life. Visitation will be held on September 25, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Evergreen Memorial Funeral Homes, 6449 University Hills Boulevard, Dallas, 75241. A wake will follow that evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at The Higher Mark Church, 2755 Gibbs Williams Rd, Dallas, TX 75233.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on September 26, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at The Jubilee Church, 200 Lion Street, DeSoto, TX 75115. Billy will later be laid to rest at a graveside service on September 28, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211.
