Mrs. Billie Juanita Stell was born November 23, 1924, in Ft. Worth, Texas. She was the oldest of four daughters born to Herbert and Ona Louise Craft. Juanita was married to Mr. Sylvester (Joe) Stell on August 12, 1961. To this union, no children were born.

Juanita graduated from the Booker T. Washington High School, Dallas Texas. She was employed by the Dallas Independent School District (Dallas ISD) where she served as a member of the instructional staff for thirty (30) years. Juanita was also a very successful real estate entrepreneur. Her talent and prowess in real estate enabled her to retire comfortably in 1987.

Juanita and her husband were members of the Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church for many years, where she served as a Sunday School teacher and a member of the choir. She loved her church and served faithfully until she was no longer able to because of her failing health. Juanita loved to sing and was a member of The Martin Gospel's of Dallas, Texas.

Juanita was truly blessed. She loved to travel, going on cruises and spending time dining with friends and family. Juanita always enjoyed a good meal.

Billie Juanita Stell retired to life eternal on July 28, 2012. She has crossed the border beyond the starlit skies to that beautiful city on high. God saw fit and it was His will for her to go home to glory.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Sylvester (Joe) Stell, parents, Herbert and Ona Louise Craft; sisters: Bobbie Dorhan and Ruth Johnson; niece, Barbara Nelson. She leaves to cherish precious memories: sister, Shirley Harrell; nephews; Terence Smith (Julaine), Eric Dorhan and Shelton Harrell; niece, Urdoshia Heads; cousin, Elder Raymond Allen (Joyce) ; great nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

The homegoing celebration will commence on Thursday, August 2, 2012 at 11:00am at Evergreen Memorial Funeral Home in the "Peggy Jo Mayse Chapel."
