On July 25, 1929 Johnny & Ida Worsham gave birth to a beautiful baby girl and named her Billie Jean Worsham. She was born in Marlin, Texas.

She accepted Christ at an early age and continued to grow in her faith. She was a member of New Birth Baptist Church. She united in matrimony to Isaac McKinley Lewis Jr. who preceded her in death. In their union, were born a son and a daughter. Also preceded her in death are three brothers and two sisters.

Billie leaves to cherish her memories: her sons Alton Carroll (Frances), William Carroll (Shirley), Gregory Steptoe (Andrea), and Michael Steptoe (Linda), a daughter Patsy Steptoe, one sister Lola R. Wiley, seven grandchildren, three nieces, five nephews, and a host of other relatives & friends.
