Betty Ann McDonald was born on June 11, 1948, in Dallas, Texas, to the late Mae Etta Myles and Matthew Morrow Jr. She was educated in the Dallas Independent School District and proudly graduated from James Madison High School, Class of 1966. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles Kenneth McDonald; her loving parents, Mae Etta Myles and Matthew Morrow Jr.; her sisters, Lurlene Kinney and Marcia Morrow; and her brothers, Allen G. "Chubby" Morrow and Willie Morrow.

Her legacy lives on through her cherished grandchildren: Travion K. McDonald, Kedrick Glenn, Erick D. Morrow Jr, Te'Zyria K. McDonald, Makenzie D. Portis, and Deshawn C. Portis.
She is also survived by her loving siblings: her brothers, Ricky Morrow and Wesley Morrow, and her sisters, Deborah K. Sweeney (Thomas Jr.) and Lonette Morrow-Green (Timothy), all of Dallas, Texas. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by a host of family, friends, and all who were fortunate to know her kind and loving spirit.
