Benjamin Lee Anderson was born on February 25, 1960 in Cleveland Ohio to the parents of Pauline Miller Anderson and Clyde H. Anderson, Sr. He was a graduate of Glenville High School in Cleveland, Ohio. Brother Benjamin L. Anderson was born again according to the scriptures. He repented of his sins and received the gift of the Holy Ghost, evidenced by speaking in other tongues, as the Spirit gave utterance. In July of 2016 in Palestine, Texas, Brother Benjamin was baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of his sins according to Acts 2:38.

He was the father of 5 children, Antonio Meredith, Adrae Mitchell, Joseph Mitchell, Tiara S. Anderson, and Anaijah S. McQueen. His first sermon as a child was "Let There be Light".

Benjamin served in the military as a United States Marine.

He was a Paramedic/EMT, a firefighter, and a certified HVAC technician. He was also certified as an electrician and certified in plumbing. He worked for the Metropolitan Housing Authority, Dart, TX DOT, and in the oil field for Halliburton. Benjamin L. Anderson departed this life on November 16, 2020.

He was preceded in death by his father, Clyde H. Anderson, Sr., his mother, Pauline Miller Anderson, and his brother, Aaron A. Anderson.

He leaves to mourn five (5) children, Antonio, Adrae, Joseph, Tiara, and Anaijah, nine (9) sisters and brothers, Madeline Harrison, Clyde Anderson, Jr.(Frances), David E. Anderson, Christine Averett (Robert), Ruth N. Reed (Hassan), Edwin E. Anderson (Shanell), Betty Mays(Garry), Frederick D. Anderson, Denise Kilburn(Michael), a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
