Cooper Beene Jr. was born on September 15, 1942 in Haynesville, LA. to Cooper Beene, Sr. and Ola Mae Beene,  He was the 4th of twelve children to this union.  cooper made his transition on January 7, 2021.

Cooper graduated from Woodson High School in Haynesville. LA., upon graduation he met and married the love of his life Gloria Copeland on February 12, 1971 and to this union two children.

Cooper leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife: Gloria Beene; 3 sons, Michael McDaniel, Aric Beene (Teresa) and Brandon Fielding; 8 daughters, Tungelin Beene, Loretta Beene, Yolanda Beene-Hatley, Felitha McKinney, Jackie Gipson, Shaterra Medlock (Orlando), and Brandace Fielding; 19 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss and cherish his memories forever.
