Barbara worked in Mental Health & Mental Retardation her entire life before she retired.  She enjoyed working with her clients throughout her working career and she was a very hard worker. She met many friends along her career path, and they stayed in touch throughout her life.

Mom loved her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She would light up whenever anyone of them would come over and visit or stay awhile.  She would give her all and last to each of them.  Those times were always very memorable for her.

Mom's favorite holiday was Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving was very special to her because this was a time to be Thankful and to come together as a family and to share food, laughter and conversations.  When she was able to cook, she would make many of the traditional dishes and more.
