Obituary

Asheley Elaine Lankford was born November 2, 1985 to the union of
Kimberly King-Lankford and Oliver Lankford. As the oldest, Asheley took pride in
being a loving daughter and big sister, and always ensured that they were proud
of her throughout her life.

Asheley accepted Christ at an early age and was a dedicated member of
Jordan Missionary Baptist Church since childhood with participation in the choir
as well as praise dance team.

Asheley graduated from Lancaster High School in 2004 ranking 5th in her
class. As a well rounded and exceptional student, she achieved many
accomplishments including Academic Decathlon, Key Club, National Honor
Society, and Student Council serving as Vice President her senior year. With her
early experience as a dancer, Asheley was a proud Lancaster Tigerette with the
success of becoming a lieutenant in the 10th grade and promoted to captain in
the 11th grade in which she held position until graduating. She attended Texas
A&M University in College Station, TX where she received her Bachelor of
Science in Psychology.

Following in the footsteps of her beloved mother, Kimberly, Asheley was
also involved in the community as a volunteer for Taking Domestic
Violence to the Hoop, Stomp Teen Violence, Lancaster High School Logistics, and
Love Fest.
In 2021, Asheley decided to take a step further by merging her admiration
