Obituary

Artis Justice, Jr. was born on August 7, 1943, in Elizabeth, Kentucky to
Ruby Lang Justice and Artis Justice, Sr.
Artis, along with his parents, two brothers, and sister, moved to Jefferson,
TX in his early years. As a young adult, Artis moved to Dallas, TX where
he had a career as a chef for several restaurants throughout Dallas, TX.
He was an excellent cook and loved watching and discussing sports.
Artis gave his life to Christ at a very early age. He also instilled Christ
into his children and made sure that they knew his Lord and Savior,
Jesus Christ, until the very end. That is who he was.
Artis is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Marilyn Justice, his
children Jill (Harold) Owens, Kathi Justice, Erica (Jeffrey) Justice, Tela
(Darrin) Nobles, and stepchildren Christopher (Demetre) Monroe,
Shanita (John) Wilson, LaKeisha Monroe, his sister Erma Lee Handy,
and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Artis Justice, Sr. & Ruby Lang
Justice, two brothers, Melvin Justice, and Calvin Justice.
