Arthur Nelson's Obituary
Arthur Mills Nelson departed this earthly life for his heavenly home on October 18, 2012 in Dallas, Texas.
He was born November 3, 1939 to the parentage of Rev. Matthew Nelson and Ola Nelson in Dallas, Texas.
He was a 1958 graduate of Lincoln High School. He later joined the army where he served as an operating room specialist for six years in the Vietnman War.
He met and married Geneva Ingram and to union two children were born, Mary Nelson and Evelyn Nelson. From a previous marriage, two children were born, Arthur Mitchell Nelson and Darlene Nelson.
His memories will be cherished by his wife of 50 years, Geneva Nelson; children, Darlene Nelson Sanders, Mary Nelson, Evelyn Nelson Carter and Arthur Mitchell Nelson and a host of other relatives and friends.
The homegoing celebration will commence on Monday, October 22, 2012 11:00am at New Friendship Baptist Church, 2419 Metropolitan Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75215
