Obituary

Arshiel Certh Taylor Jr. was born in Bullard, Texas to Arshiel Certh Taylor Sr. and Pinkie Blevins on January 31, 1928. He attended, and graduated from, Stanton High School in Bullard.

He joined Ruth Taylor in marriage in 1955. From this 65 year union they had four sons and two daughters; Paul Taylor, Brian Taylor, Trevinnie Taylor, Cory Taylor, Pinkie Taylor and Rhonda Taylor.

For many years he worked self-employed as an upholsterer on both cars and furniture. A.C. Taylor was a Veteran of the U.S. Military Air Force serving in World War II.

At an early age he was baptized and became a member of The Church of God in Christ. He was a true and dedicated "Pioneer" to the Church of God in Christ where he served as Pastor to several churches in the region until his health failed him. Superintendent A.C. Taylor was the former jurisdictional treasurer for the Texas Southeast Third Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction.

A.C. Taylor was proceeded in death by both his Father and Mother, his daughters Pinkie and Rhonda and his son Brian.

He leaves to mourn his death his sons Paul, Trevinnie and Cory and his grandchildren Alfia, Arshiel, Dmitri, Yolanda, Eboni and Logan. He also leaves in mourning, his son Tony and daughters Charla and Karen, as well as host of great-grandchildren, family members and friends.
