Arnold Frank Metcalf was born in Dallas, Texas on July 10, 1949 to Eddie Metcalf Jr. and Jessie Mae Lovelady of Dallas, Texas one of eight children born of this union. Known to his friends as Mighty. He attended L.G. Pinkston and James Madison High School were he later received his G.E.D. He served as a soldier in the US Army in 1969. He was married to Ms. Sherial Jefferson of Dallas. He continued his education and received his Barber License were he worked in the North Dallas and Plano area.

He is proceeded in Death by both parents Eddie Metcalf Jr. and Jessie Mae Lovelady Metcalf, three brothers Ronald Metcalf, Donald Metcalf and Michael Metcalf and one sister Melva Metcalf.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Mrs. Sherial Metcalf, three sisters Linda Johnson, Carolyn Metcalf and Deborah Metcalf all of Dallas and plenty of nieces and nephews that love him dearly.
