Jones, Sr.
August 25, 1976 – February 3, 2022
Antonio LaMond Jones, Sr., departed life on Thursday, February 3, 2022. At the time of his departure, he was 45 years old. Antonio was the oldest of two children born to Ralph and Regina Jones in Shreveport, LA. Antonio confessed his life to Christ at a very young age. He was baptized at the Light Hill Baptist Church in Shreveport, LA. He relocated with his parents to Laguna Niguel, CA where he joined St. James Missionary Baptist Church under the direction of Rev. Richard Kessee, Jr. Antonio moved to Allen, TX during his adult life years later to be with his parents due to medical reasons where he fought a good fight and never complained.
Antonio graduated from Sierra High School in San Juan Capistrano, CA. He continued his education at the University of Phoenix where he received his Master's Degree in Management/Hospitality Management. Antonio was working on his Doctorate at the time of his departure to be with the Lord.
Antonio started his own business under the name of "Mama Jean's Sauces and Seasonings". He enjoyed cooking, fishing, creating sauces and seasoning and spending time with his children and family.
Antonio was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Virgil Sr and Elizabeth Cain; his grandparents, Lizzie and Cleo Jones and Virgil Cain, Jr.; and his uncle, Mack Cain, Sr.
Antonio leaves to cherish his precious memories, his parents, Ralph and Regina Jones; his brother, Terrace Orlando Jones; four children, Antonio LaMond Jones Jr., Elijah Javis Searls, Priscilla Marie Jones and Makala Leeann Jones; two grandchildren, Jakoby Jarvis Wesley Searles and Kalanie Rene Searls; grandmother, Maple L Taylor and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and devoted friends.
He fought a good fight and now he can rest.
