Obituary

Anthony "Tony" Lee was a beloved dad, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. Tony was born on June 27, 1958, in Detroit, Michigan, to the union of the late Warren L. Lee and Florestine W. Lee. He departed this life on Monday, May 2, 2022, after a strong fight against an illness.

He grew up in Detroit, Michigan with his parents and 8 siblings. He worked for Ford Motor Company and moved to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma in the late 1970s. During his time in Oklahoma, he was married to Mary Gammon for 9 years, with whom he shares two children. In 2000 he relocated to Dallas, Texas, which became his home.

Tony was passionate about his work as a salesman for Huffines Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram in Dallas, Texas for the past thirteen years. He was the Salesman of the Month for numerous years, the all-time Chili Cook-off Champion, and loved by his customers. His favorite title was Grandpa, and that's what he did best. He cherished his free time visiting his grandchildren and going on new adventures with them as well.

Tony Lee was preceded in death by his parents Warren L. Lee and Florestine W. Lee, and his two siblings Dewine Lee, and Willie Lee. He leaves behind his children: Laketa Gammon and Jalisa Thomas (Chip); 6 grandchildren: Destyne Franklin, Deshawn Franklin, Diamond Franklin, Denae Franklin, Channing Thomas, and Sterling Thomas; siblings: Warren Lee Sr. (Pam), Patricia Lee (Darnell), Deborah Lee, Ronald Lee (Brendyl), Wanda Florestine, Doug Lee (Clevette), and a host of nieces and nephews.
