Anthony fell asleep in the Lord on May 21, 2024, in Ennis, TX. His mother, Flossie Mae Canada, predeceased him. He
was raised by two loving parents, Carnell and Cynthia Canada.
He accepted Christ as a young man. He is a current member of Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship.
Anthony served as a marine from 1984 to 1992. He would want you to know, once a Marine, always a Marine.
Anthony worked at the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, located at Hutchins State Jail, where everyone is
considered family.
He leaves behind his wife, Dequbanice Canada, stepchildren: Shakiba (Reginald), George, and Shania, and
grandchildren: Kaitlin, RJ, and Kingston. Anthony is survived by his siblings: Latanya, Camille, Cortiss, Amele,
Grace, and Gloria. He is remembered by his beloved brother-in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, honorary
brothers: Vince, Mike, Tim, Derric, and Eric, honorary Sisters: Latasha Maston, and honorary nephew: Lowell Miller.
