Obituary

Andrew Robert Wilson was born March 3, 1934 to the parentage of the late Willie and Permelia Wilson. He received his education in Jefferson, Texas school district. He served in the United States Army and was Honorably Discharged. He then entered the workforce for Inland Sales of Dallas, Texas as a truck driver, where he retired in the late 80s. After retiring he became a school crossing guard, but most of all he was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend.

He accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Macedonia United Methodist Church of Jefferson, Texas. He later became a faithful member of Shekinah Tabernacle Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor A.C. Stapleton in Dallas, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Susie Lee Wilson; son, Mark Wilson; brothers, Rueben, Oscar, Raymond, Nathan, and Claude Wilson; sisters, Mattie L. Smith, and Lurene Cooper.

To love and cherish his memories he leaves: 3 daughters, Permelia (Roney) Owens, Denise (Vernard) Rivers, and Amelia Wilson. 3 sons, Dwight, Wayne, Andre Wilson; 1 sister, Willie M. Lynn of Harlton, Texas; 7 grandchildren, Cory (Alexis), Roney, Chanell, LaQuisha, Devonta, Kyla, and Chris; 5 great-grandchildren, Caiden, Jamil, Lyric, Gisele, and Paris; 2 sisters-in-law, Cheryl Jones and Carolyn Johnson and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends
