Andrea Renee Sherman, the baby of five girls, was born on August 4, 1963, in Dallas, Texas to Andrew Lee Sherman, Jr. and Dorothy Marie Rainwater Sherman.  She attended Dallas Public Schools and graduated from Skyline High School class of 1981.  Andrea "Nene" took to the world of cosmetology after graduating beauty school, working full-time and overtime to ensure everyone was beautiful. Nene also worked at such companies as Sprint, Bank of America, and Regulus; but her true passion was styling hair.  She always was available to roller set her mother Dorothy 'Tootsie' Sherman or assist anyone in need of quick styling.

Nene was blessed with a loving family of three special children.  Even through trials of diabetes, she was able to raise her daughters and son with love and care.  She accepted Christ at an early age; and was raised in the Christian faith at the True Lee Missionary Baptist Church.  As with all the dedicated Sherman family, Nene strived to live by the grace of God.  This showed in her big heart and unselfish deeds.  She was willing to help any and every one that needed assistance or a helping hand.

Andrea is proceeded in death by her mother, Dorothy Sherman, father, Andrew Sherman, Jr, sister, Debra Gamble and "brother", Kenneth Gamble. She leaves behind to cherish her fondly: daughters Wendrea Sherman and Amuria Sherman; son Andrew Sherman; sisters, Janice Board (Virgil), Brenda Cash and Gail Jeffery; grandchildren Devyn Daniels, DeAysha Sherman, Skylar Sherman, Adonis Sherman, Ariya Sherman, and Ace Sherman.  She was also loved and adored by beloved cousins, nephews and nieces, and a host of other family and friends.
