On November 25, 1954 In Dallas, Texas, Alma Jo was born to both Burford L. Kemp Sr and Pearlie Mae Smith. She was the 5th child of 7 children.

She gradated in 1972 from Franklin D. Roosevelt H.S. She accepted Christ at an early age. She attended True Lee M.B.C and resides at Christ the Cornerstone where she became a member in 2017. She served as a Greeter in the Greeting Ministry and also as Pastor's Aid.

In the early 1980's she met, fell In-love and married George Robertson Jr. of 37 years. Having 2 beautiful children George Robertson III and Lavinia Robertson.

She worked as a Dental Assistant and a Loan Processor. Retiring in the early 1990's.

Preceded in death by her parents; Buford L. Kemp Sr. and Pearlie Mae Kemp.

Survived by her Husband; George Robertson, Jr. Children; Lavinia Robertson and George Robertson, III, brothers; Gregory Charles ( Alice Kemp), Martin ( Felicia Kemp), and Oscar Kemp. One Grandchild and one Great- Grandchild. A host of niece, nephews, go-children, and family.
