Obituary

ALICE FAYE WILSON was born to the late Excell and Lula Lewis on September 18, 1940, in Dallas, Texas. The eldest of three children, she was educated in the Dallas public school system and worked in the banking and human resources fields.

She accepted Christ at an early age and was a faithful member of True Lee Missionary Baptist Church. She married the late Clent Wilson in July 1968 and together they worked tirelessly in the church. She was an active and dedicated member and served for many years in multiple capacities including Chairlady of the Deaconess, the Mission ministry, a committed member of the Gospel, Combined, and Sanctuary choirs, the Pastor's Aid and support team, the Highnooners, and was an active National Baptist Convention attendee. She also worked on the kitchen committee, was a member of the TLMBC bowling league for many years and supported the church whenever and wherever she was asked or saw a need to do so.

She was an amazing daughter, sister, mother, grand and great grandmother, auntie, friend, church mom, school mom and actively supported countless church and school extra-curricular activities as a volunteer parent for ALL her children.

In addition to her parents, aunts, uncles, and her beloved husband Clent Wilson, she was preceded in death by her siblings Alvin Ray Lewis and Patricia Ann Palmer; her beloved grandson Alvin Dunn; her In-laws and best friend Delores & John Potter, Marzetta Rasul, Wallace Razul, and Charles Brembry.

She leaves to cherish her memories and continue her enduring legacy, her loving children Brenda Dunn, Tyrone Dunn (and Wife Debra), and Charlotte Dunn; grandchildren Shenequa Dunn, Jerry Cunningham, Arthur Cunningham, Brandon Wilson (who she also adopted); cousins Peggy Blocker and Freddie Ayers; brother-in-law Eddie Palmer; niece and nephews Traci, Eddie, and Antoine Palmer (and their families); niece and nephew Marcus and Johnisha (Potter) Summers; great-grandchildren Detarius, Malik, Alvin, Alicia, Jerry Jr., Cabria, Chelsii, Tristan, Londyn, Austin, Autumn, Brooke-lynn, and Journee; great, great-grandchildren Audrielle and Drayden; and a host of Family in California, Michigan, Oklahoma, and Texas.
